In a design-build or design-assist project, Randall joins your team early, working alongside owners, general contractors, and consultants while the project is still taking shape.
In design-build, we take on design and construction together, developing the mechanical design and pricing as part of the project team. In design assist, we work with the owner's consultants, contributing budgeting and practical design input as the drawings develop.
Either way, the value we bring is the same.
Constructability, Built In
The biggest risk in any mechanical design is finding out too late that it can't be built the way it was drawn. Randall's job in a design-build or design-assist role is to make sure that never happens:
- Designs that can be built. We review and shape the design as it develops, so the drawings reflect how the systems will be fabricated and installed.
- Equipment that fits. We verify that selected equipment fits the spaces intended for it before it's ordered, not after it arrives.
- Coordination across disciplines. We work with electrical and other trades to coordinate the work, so nothing is missed between drawings to completion.
- Budgets that hold. With our expert eye on the design from day one, costs stay realistic and surprises stay rare.
