Founded in 1905, Randall is Winnipeg's oldest mechanical contractor, with a team of over 100 in the field and 20 in the office.
Very few mechanical contractors last as long as Randall has, and none do it by standing still. Through every era, our team has adapted: new technologies, new markets, new ways of building, all carried on the same foundation of quality installations, steady leadership, and long-standing client relationships.
Today, Randall is one of Winnipeg's larger mechanical companies, with over 100 field employees across construction and service, and a 20-person office team of estimators, project managers, and our design build group. We serve Winnipeg and the surrounding region, with a focus on large-scale commercial construction and commercial mechanical service.
In-House Fabrication
One of Randall's biggest advantages doesn't appear on a job site at all until exactly the right moment. Our soon-to-be-expanded 12,000-square-foot fabrication facility handles welding, pipe grooving, and the sorting and prep of materials for job sites, plus assembly of complete equipment skids.
Fabricating in a controlled environment, on the same coordinated schedule as the rest of the project, means materials arrive on site prepped and ready to install, just in time. It’s how we achieve less hot work on site, fewer people on site, reduced congestion, and more efficient, accurate installs.

Behind every Randall project is a deep talent pool: experienced tradespeople, project managers, estimators, and designers, many of whom have spent their careers with the company.
Since 1905
From Charles E. Randall's first plumbing shop on Portage Avenue to landmark projects like the Winnipeg Arena, Great-West Life's head office, and St. Vital Centre, Randall's history runs through the history of Winnipeg itself.
